Great price on a quality vest. April 11, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this for my elderly father (he's always cold) and he really liked it. The vest is very lightweight and keeps a steady, lightly warm temperature all the time. Certainly worth the money.
Great way to keep thermostat low! November 20, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
With the high price of heating oil this winter I have been trying to keep my thermostat at 60 degrees. I found dressing in layers and/or wearing a fleece sweatshirt too bulky.br /br /I Googled for heated vests just as a lark. I knew they made heated gloves and socks for skiing but had never heard of vests. In all honesty, I had been thinking they would make a great invention and I'd soon be rich ... oh well! : (br /br /Instead I came across this vest. I received it just the other day and this is my first wearing. I love it! It is thin and lightweight and though the temp in the house is 60, I am nice and warm! (Thus alot less tempted to boost the thermostat.)br /br /I can't comment on other reviewers statements that it didn't work outside, because frankly that use was never my intent. For inside use it is terrific! br /br /An adjustable thermostat would be nice, but for inside at least, I find the temp to be great ... maybe even a bit on the 'too warm' side!br /br /
Heated Vest January 14, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this vest from my husband. He teaches tennis outdoors and it can be quite chilly. He loved the vest and hardly took it off. It got pretty dirty and because it has wiring for the heating, it has to be dry cleaned. It was a little pricey, but worth the money I think. We may purchase the heated socks and gloves.
Nicely designed, but zipper broke December 13, 2007 I got this heated vest for my 10 year old son. He loves it, except the zipper broke on the third use. We will have it fixed, but it's unfortunate that it broke so soon. The vest is well designed and easy enough for a 10 year old to operate. He wore it on a cold, rainy camping trip and was very comfortable.
Works like a charm January 7, 2008 This was a great present for my girlfriend who is always cold this time of year. It heats up quickly and stays warm for a long time. Overall, I'm very happy with the way it turned out.
